A Practice Staff support group

to improve working lives in

Middlesbrough and Langbaurgh

        Family driving you mad?

                            Stressed out?

All trained up and nowhere to go?

                                                            GP's not listening, as usual?

                                                                            Need someone to talk to?

It sometimes helps to talk confidentially about issues affecting work away from that workplace. An independent non-judgmental listener can often help you see other possibilities. It may be that you are going round in circles or are so close to a problem that it is difficult to be objective about how to resolve things.

Our aim is to help you reflect and explore the issues yourself, in order to move things on in the direction you want to go. We have been trained in mentoring skills by GP Health and our help is free, just contact one of us to arrange a date and place to meet.

Ed Selby is currently checking the accuracy of the list below so apologies if contact details are inaccurate

Middlesbrough and Eston PCT is currently engaged in setting up a dedicated Occupational Health Service for Practice staff. Further details hopefully forthcoming soon

Robert Champion has recently left the PCT. We are trying to engage with replacemrnt

All discussions will be totally confidential and we regard this as completely separate and independent from our other work commitments.
